Wildbach Litters
Litter of 10 puppies born today (24 August) to Andsal Wanadoo (Rolo) sired by Wildbach Black Adder.
Litter comprises 4 liver and whites (2 bitches, 2 dogs), 3 solid livers (2 bitches, 1 dog), 3 black and whites (1 bitch and 2 dogs).
Pavla (Wildbach Black Magic) was bred to Birkenwald Borris of Heathermark on 9 February and six puppies were born on the 12th April. Two dog puppies are available.
Both Pavla and Borris' pedigrees can be seen on www.worldpedigrees.com (Borris' sister's pedigree is on there!) and photos of Borris are on this page. The pedigree comprises some UK/US lines, but is 3/4 Birkenwald.
There are many German Field Trial (KS) champions and many generations of GSPs who have been hip scored with very good results - both ancestors and close relatives (i.e. Borris' mother, Ella scored 0:0; Borris' uncle (Birkenwald Roland) scored 0:0, and Pavla's brother (Wildbach Silver Partridge) also scored 0:0), as well as heart tests, eye tests, etc. and Pavla is certified "non porteur for EBJ".

Borris lives on the North Yorkshire Moors where his owner and his wife are the Game Keepers on a big grouse and pheasant shoot. All the GSPs work on the shoot and Boris has apparently excelled on a number of difficult retrieves of wounded birds last season. He has a pleasant, biddable nature, strong working instincts and ability, and good with other dogs.
Both he and Pavla have had awards at championship shows and Pavla has qualified for Crufts 2010 (she is entered), as well as having won Best of Breed at some Open Shows, including the Devon County Show in 2007, and Best in Show at a Companion Dog Show.
Pavla is a fast keen hunter with superb air scenting ability, a soft mouthed natural retriever and having grown up racing along the big surf beaches in West Cornwall is a real "water baby"! She is very intelligent and quick to learn and spent a lot of time until she was 2yrs old in Cornwall playing with all the dogs on the beaches and Hayle Towans. Now Pavla and her brother are serious hunters and enjoy their walks in big forests!

Eleven puppies arrived end of May 2009 by Wildbach Black Adder (solid black carrying liver and ticking) ex Minstral of Halwell (liver and white).
Puppies comprised solid black, solid liver and black and whites.
